The forms/checklists mentioned below are required for all visa categories accepted by BLS
Mexican citizens do not need a visa for tourist trips to Germany that are less than 90 days.
Mexican citizens require a national visa for stays in Germany longer than 90 days. Said visa must be requested through the BLS International offices in Mexico City or Monterrey before entering the country.
Applications for Blue Card visas must be initiated via Consular Services Portal.
Post final confirmation from Consular Services Portal, applicant will be asked to schedule an appointment for VAC visit.
If you are applying for a National Visa and planning to take your family with you, your spouse and children should apply for a Family Reunification Visa.

| Travel Insurance Booking Service | Travel insurance is a coverage designed to protect against risks and financial losses that could happen while traveling. The risks range from minor inconveniences such as missed airline connections and delayed luggage all the way to more serious issues including injuries or major illness. At the BLS Germany Visa Application Center, staff will assist you to book the appropriate travel insurance required by the Embassy. You will have the option to select the insurance provider of your choice and pay the insurance fees that may vary based on plan type, age and duration of stay.
